Refund & Money-Back Policy

We stand behind the quality of our training platform. If you are not satisfied, our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and easy to action. This policy is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

0130-Day Money-Back Guarantee (All Plans)

If you subscribe to train2secure on a Standard, Pro, or Managed plan and are not satisfied with the platform or training content for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription date.

This is a no-questions-asked guarantee. We will process your refund promptly and your account will be deleted immediately.

How to request a refund

Use our contact form and select “Refund Request” as the subject. Please include your account email address and the date of your subscription. We aim to process all refund requests within 2 business days.

02B2B Enterprise — 30-Day Pilot Clause

For organisations on annual enterprise contracts negotiated directly with train2secure, the first 30 days of the contract term constitute a pilot period. During this pilot period, the organisation may terminate the contract and receive a full refund of any amounts paid, without penalty.

Termination requests during the pilot period must be submitted in writing via our contact form and acknowledged by a train2secure representative to be valid. After the pilot period ends, standard contract termination terms apply as set out in your signed agreement.

03Refund Carve-Outs (Exceptions)

The 30-day money-back guarantee and pilot clause do not apply in the following circumstances:

  • Certificate issued: If one or more compliance certificates have been generated and downloaded under the account, the refund is void.
  • More than one course completed: If more than one full course has been completed by any user on the account, the refund is void. Completing the free trial course prior to purchase does not count toward this limit.
  • After 30 days: Refund requests submitted after 30 calendar days from the initial subscription date will not be approved.
  • Terms violation: Accounts suspended or terminated due to a breach of our Terms of Service are not eligible for a refund.
  • Renewal invoices: Automatic annual renewal charges are not refundable after processing. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
  • Promotional or discounted plans: Plans purchased at a significant promotional discount (greater than 30% off standard pricing) are non-refundable unless the platform is found to have a material defect.

04Refund Process & Timing

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method (credit/debit card via Stripe). Typical processing times:

  • train2secure processes the refund within 2 business days of approval.
  • Stripe typically completes the reversal within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Bank transfer / invoice-based payments may take up to 15 business days.

You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been issued. If you do not see the funds within 15 business days of receiving that confirmation, please contact your bank or card issuer first, then contact us if the issue persists.

05EU & UK Consumer Cooling-Off Rights

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a digital content purchase within 14 days of the contract date without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

However, by accessing or beginning to use our training content (including watching any video or taking any quiz), you expressly acknowledge and agree that you waive your right of withdrawal with respect to the digital content you have accessed, as permitted by applicable law.

Our 30-day money-back guarantee above is more generous than the statutory 14-day cooling-off period in most respects, and applies instead.

06Free Trial Accounts

The free trial (no credit card required) is limited to one training video and one quiz. No charge is made during or after the free trial. There is nothing to refund for a trial-only account.

If you convert from a free trial to a paid subscription, the 30-day money-back guarantee applies from the date of your first subscription charge.

07Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period, except as described in the 30-day guarantee above.

We recommend cancelling at least 7 days before your renewal date to ensure the cancellation is processed before the next charge.
